Our idea for Ironbark Cabins started back in June 2016.

When looking for a cabin for our own site in a caravan park, we realised we couldn’t find anything that matched our criteria – affordable, quality-built, and stylish.

With tiny homes & modular homes starting to gain popularity, we thought we could create a small prefabricated home that was truly liveable, and able to be relocated if required!

And so in December 2019, we finished our first display cabin and our business Ironbark Cabins was born.

We didn’t want to build just any old cabin, we wanted to create something that would give our clients the flexibility to create different floor layouts AND the ability to move their small home quickly & easily.

Fast forward to 2024, our business has evolved in ways we couldn’t have imagined possible and we have recently rebranded our name to ‘Ironbark Homes’ 

Everyone who comes to view our display homes are blown away by the size, quality and what is included in the build.

Our homes are truly relocatable unlike most granny flats which claim to be (but the process is never worth the hassle). They are built with a fully engineered super steel structure, with lifting points on the roof that can be craned over the top of houses or other obstacles if need be.

What we love the most is that, unlike a traditional tiny house, these transportable homes can also be classified as a Class 1 dwelling, meaning if they are used as a main residence, they will increase in value over time!

With a background as home builders, we knew that we could take all of our knowledge and apply it to something smaller, while still keeping the same high-quality materials and finishes that we always prioritise when building homes.

We can also fully customise each build, making each cabin truly unique to their new owners.

As a small family business, we love going above and beyond for our customers to ensure their experience buying a small second dwelling is second to none. We want people to feel at home with us and we’ll guide them through the build process 100% of the way.
